The central government has extended the last date for the installation of HSRP number plates. The government has released new dates.

New dates issued for private two wheelers and four wheelers
15 February 2022 - Private vehicles registered in all the districts of the state with 0 and at the end of the number.
15 May 2022 - Registered vehicles with 2 and 3 at the end of the number.
15 August 2022 - Registered vehicles with 4 and 5 at the end of the last number.
15 November 2022 - Registered vehicles with 6 and 7 at the end of the number.
15 February 2023 - Registered vehicles with 8 and 9 at the end of the number.
The Transport Department has amended the last date for the installation of High Security Registration Plate (SHRP). In view of the problems being faced in getting the number plates installed, the department has once again given a chance to the private vehicle owners. The department has fixed new dates for installation of SHRP in two wheeler, four wheeler, private vehicles in Uttar Pradesh. This rule will not be applicable in NCR Delhi.
Earlier, HSRP was made mandatory for all vehicles by November 15, 2022. Vehicles purchased before April 1, 2019, must have this plate installed. Dates from 0 to 9 digits of the last number of vehicles have been fixed.
The date for installing HSRP and color coded stickers in all private vehicles registered in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and commercial vehicles registered in the state has ended on September 30, 2021. No changes have been made to it.
