Types of Scholarship is Given in UP
The Government of Uttar Pradesh operates various types of scholarship schemes for the students studying in Uttar Pradesh. These schemes are categorized on the basis of Pre Metric, Post Matric, In this, there is a provision to give scholarships to the students living in Uttar Pradesh and outsiders living in Uttar Pradesh. This scholarship is given to General, OBC, SC and ST category students as well as Muslim, girl child etc.
Benefit of Up Scholarship Schemes
This scholarship is very important for the students living in the poverty line, because only through this they can continue their exam preparation and their studies. Most of the scholarships in Uttar Pradesh are given by Social Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department, Tribal Welfare Department and Social Welfare Department.
Application Process of Up Scholarship class 1 to 8, 9 to 10, 11to 12th
The application process for the scholarship starts in the month of July and the scholarship funds are sent to all the students in their accounts by the end of December or January. The scholarship amount is sent to the account of the students through online DBT.
First of all we have to apply online, after that our institute, school, college, university send that scholarship further to the department. From there, after the scholarship is approved, the scholarship is received in our bank account. This scholarship is sent through dbt with the help of PFMS portal.
Under Direct Benefit Transfer, scholarships are sent to all the students in their accounts without any problem. Most of the students who are late in taking their admission or can not apply for the scholarship due to the result declaration, they can apply till 10 January 2022.
Date of Up Scholarship
For the first time, the date of application has been extended for the third time for the post tenth scholarship and fee reimbursement for the academic session 2021-2022. After applying, all the students are advised to submit the hard copy of the application form along with all their documents to the institute. Only then is it forwarded. In the third phase, the scholarship of the students who have applied will be sent after Holi i.e. by March 25. Fee reimbursement from March 25, that scholarship money will start being sent to the accounts. Other than this
Apart from this, the payment of scholarship for post-matriculation and minority students has been done from January 4 to 6.
How to Check Status of Scholarship
If you have not received your scholarship yet, then you can check your scholarship by visiting the portal given below. To check the scholarship, you have to go to the given portal, there you will have to enter your account number. After entering the account number bank you have to fill the captcha code and as soon as you fill the captcha code a message will come on your registered mobile number and after filling the otp you can check your scholarship status online.
