Backward class students will get scholarship in government and private schools
District Backward Classes Welfare Officer Shri Indrasen Saroj has informed through a press release that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has started the Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Scheme. Scholarship will be given to OBC, EBC and other category students and girls of classes 09-10 and 11-12 of public and private schools. They have to clear the successful entrance exam.
The exam will be computer based. The website to apply is www.yet.nta.ac.in, whose last date has been fixed as August 26, 2022.
Applicants should belong to OBC, EBC and other categories, should have studied in excellent schools, parents' annual income should not be more than 2.5 lakhs, the required eligibility of boys and girls will be the same, students of class 09-10 will get Rs 75000. And for the students of 11-12, Rs. 125000/- will be given as an award.
